  • 1735 Trestle Glen Rd Oakland CA 94610, United States - Oakland
In Oakland on the boundary of Piedmont at the Valant Place intersection. A new and deep sink-hole measuring 1 x 2 feet across and 3 feet deep. The pavement around the existing hole appears ready to collapse. This could be life threatening for a cyclist riding down hill, and injurious for any pedestrian falling into the hole.
  • 381 Somerset Rd Oakland CA 94611, United States - Montclair
A large volume of demolition debris (painted wood, bricks, concrete rubble) dumped down the embankment from 381 Somerset toward Park Road. The debris field covers the entire hillside behind this multi-unit apartment.
  • 9785–9889 Skyline Blvd Oakland CA 94619, United States - Joaquin Miller Park

Seven (7) plastic trash bags of "party waste" including recyclable beer bottles.

This turn-out is a site of chronic, illegal dumping and needs to be blocked-off by large logs or boulders!!!

  • 247–277 E 18th St Oakland 94606, United States - Merritt
Someone apparently stope the barrel for this trash receptacle, and then the empty receptacle - without the barrel - was filled with trash and then opened.
All of this trash is just a short distance from a storm-drain and Lake Merritt.
  • 1159–1199 Excelsior Ave Oakland 94610, United States - Trestle Glen
Please collect and remove three large piles of trimmings of oak tree branches and dried weeds from the Adopt-a-Spot (Park Blvd -
    Excelsior - Kingsley Triangle).
  • Grand Ave Oakland 94610, United States - Lakeshore
MISSING BICYCLE RACK (!). A reckless driver crashed into, and destroyed, one of the two bicycle racks on the southwest side of Splash Pad Park, adjacent to Grand Avenue.
Once the Farmer’s Market gets busy, the one remaining rack is filled and there’s NO PLACE TO LOCK BICYCLES. Please replace this rack and make the reckless driver pay the cost! Thank you!
  • 10150–10196 Skyline Blvd Oakland 94619, United States - Joaquin Miller Park
Wood debris, soil, and plastics on the shoulder of Skyline Blvd. adjacent to Joaquin Miller Park.
  • 1161–1199 Holman Rd Oakland 94610 United States - Trestle Glen

A person who works apparently as a debris hauler is parking his truck and two trailers for extended periods of time (thereby qualifying as abandoned vehicles) in the vicinity of the Grosvenor Place-Holman Road intersection.

    Dodge RAM 2500 V10 Magnum
    License plate: 5K58653

The trailers jut out way into the residential street causing a traffic hazard for motorists and cyclists on the primary access point into the Lakeshore Homes/Crocker Highlands neighborhood.

The truck and at least one of the trailers occasionally disappear for a business day, before being returned to the same general parking area.
The City has previously done a good job posting notices on the truck and trailers, but the owner has now removed the license plates from both trailers.

Please take action to remove this traffic hazard.

Materials from creek cleanup day have been sitting here for over a week, and the waste container is overflowing with plastics, dog poop, pizza boxes, etc.
  • 10902 Skyline Blvd Oakland 94619, United States - Joaquin Miller Park
This is a 2nd dumping area used by the violator on the back side of the Fern Ravine parking area near the access gate to the equestrian area.
THIS IS NOT A DUPLICATE; it’s a separate report of a separate, similar dump.
This is the 4th dumpsite with the same material and M.O as three others on or near Skyline Blvd.
  • 10902 Skyline Blvd Oakland 94619, United States - Joaquin Miller Park
Clay clods, concrete, and possibly asphalt dumped in the parking lot off Skyline Blvd. bordering Fern Ravine - headwaters of Sausal Creek.
This is the same material and M.O. as two other dumping incidents surrounding this park. The City needs to install surveillance cameras at known dumping sites.
  • 9339 Skyline Boulevard Oakland, CA 94611, United States of America - Joaquin Miller Park
There are approximately eight (8) rectangular depressions that were “created” by Andes Construction. http://andesconst.com. The company was doing roadwork on this stretch of Skyline Blvd., and they did a terrible and unsuccessful job of road patching. About eight (8) rectangular patches were made BELOW STREET LEVEL, and they will only get worse with time. Other companies working on Skyline Blvd. have made smooth, at grade patches that are safe, so it’s the company’s poor workmanship and not the road.
  • 5201 Park Boulevard Oakland, CA 94611, United States of America - Piedmont
The right lane of the downhill (southbound) section of Park Blvd. was terribly patched with a large mass of undulating (bumpy) asphalt. It is such a "change in grade" that it could cause a cyclist to lose control and crash. The asphalt patch is preceded by a dangerous pothole. To make matters worse, this troublesome section is shaded most of the day and therefore invisible. The only way for cyclists to avoid this section is to veer quickly into the left lane, thereby exposing cyclists and motorists alike to collision. I thought this was an interim, temporary patch, but it's been this way for at least 6 months now.
  • 3935-3943 Park Blvd Oakland, CA 94602, USA - Glenview
The irrigation system for the landscaping within the street median is leaking onto Park Blvd. and has been for at least 6 months.
  • 1900-1950 3rd Ave Oakland, CA 94606, USA - Ivy Hill
Three storm drains clogged with plastics and potentially hazardous waste in the vicinity of Wayne Place and 3rd Avenue. This area of Oakland seriously needs some Adopt-a-Drain volunteers!
  • 1156-1198 Excelsior Ave Oakland, CA 94610, USA - Trestle Glen
Illegal dumping: appliance - stove on sidewalk.
  • Illegal Dumping Acknowledged
9690-9832 Skyline Blvd Oakland, CA 94611, USA - Joaquin Miller Park
Several bags and containers of miscellaneous waste including a variety of plastics were dumped at a trailhead for Joaquin Miller Park at a turnout off Skyline Blvd.
  • 9723-9805 Skyline Blvd Oakland, CA 94611, USA - Joaquin Miller Park
A cache of household hazardous waste containers in a clear garbage bag. There is a significant volume of hazardous material present in the rusted containers at the top of the road embankment (potentially posing a threat to water quality and wildlife). This material has been in this place, clearly visible for 3-4 weeks. I thought of taking it myself to the Household Hazardous Waste Facility, but I don't think they accept "found materials". Countless trucks from the City and EBRPD have probably passed this dump site, yet nobody has retrieved it for proper disposal!
  • Illegal Dumping Acknowledged
9449 Skyline Blvd Oakland, CA 94611, USA - Piedmont Pines
Large amount of food waste and plastics from a party thrown down the embankment into Joaquin Miller Park.
  • Pothole Acknowledged
