  • 401 North Larch Street Lansing, Michigan - Lansing
NW corner of Shiawassee and Larch, south facing light. (It's possible I'm misremembering and it's actually the "walk" light - you'll figure that out very quickly, I'm sure.)
  • 393 West Lake Lansing Road East Lansing, Michigan - East Lansing
Lake Lansing Road at Northern Tier Trail crossing.
  • 1201-1257 Abbot Road East Lansing, Michigan - East Lansing
Both walk lights are out on the west side of Saginaw at Abbot. The "don't walk" lights work, but both "walk" lights are burnt out or otherwise non-functional.
  • 2345 Harrison Avenue East Lansing, Michigan - East Lansing
Button on SW corner of Harrison & Lake Lansing does not work. Press it and the button light comes one - but the crosswalk signal never changes. Sat through several light cycles. Passed through the area an hour later and the crosswalk button light was still on!
  • 2698 East Saginaw Street Lansing, Michigan - Lansing
Sidewalk on the south side of Saginaw, just west of Lasalle, there is a very low hanging wire - I almost hit my head on it. I don't think it's live, I think it's debris from the ice storm that was just never taken care of.
  • 1201-1257 Abbot Road East Lansing, Michigan - East Lansing
NW corner of Saginaw & Abbot intersection. No doubt remnants from a car accident that were never cleaned. Pieces continue quite a ways from the intersection, actually.
  • 100-298 East Saginaw Highway East Lansing, Michigan - East Lansing
The north-facing "don't walk" light on the southeast corner of the Saginaw-Abbot intersection appears to be burnt out.
  • 782-798 East Saginaw Highway East Lansing, Michigan - East Lansing
There is some "do not enter" tape tied to one side of the pedestrian bridge at Alton & Saginaw. It doesn't stretch across the bridge entrance, so I presume the bridge is safe to use at this point - but seeing that tape flapping in the wind does make you wonder. Assuming the bridge really is safe to use, the remaining tape should be taken away.
  • 2650-2734 Haslett Road East Lansing, Michigan - East Lansing
If you're crossing Haslett on the west side of Park Lake, the crosswalk button on the north side of Haslett (at least) is apparently not talking to the crosswalk signal. I pressed it and waited a long time for the light to change - eventually a car showed up on Park Lake, which caused the light to change, but the crosswalk signal still never changed to "Walk". This has happened to me several times.
  • 2700-2714 East Saginaw Highway East Lansing, Michigan - Ingham County
If you're crossing Saginaw on the west side of Park Lake, the crosswalk button on the north side of Saginaw (at least) is apparently not talking to the crosswalk signal. I pressed it and waited a long time for the light to change - eventually a car showed up on Park Lake, which caused the light to change, but the crosswalk signal still never changed to "Walk". • 1124 Burcham Dr East Lansing, MI - East Lansing
Wife lost a tire to it this morning. Location is approximate - south side of Burcham, I believe just a little bit west of Stoddard.
  • Saginaw & Abbot East Lansing, MI - East Lansing
Have been in that state for months. Read an article in the LSJ a while back about a pedestrian being hit at this intersection - wondered if a working "don't walk" light would have prevented it. Definitely a safety issue for a high-traffic (cars & people) intersection.
  • W Saginaw St East Lansing, MI - East Lansing

On the north side of Saginaw, between Harrison and Coolidge, down trees and tree limbs from the last snowfall are blocking the sidewalk in three locations. Pedestrians can "duck" under two of them, but the downed tree closest to Coolidge makes the sidewalk impassible.

This information was correct as of this morning - if they were removed today I would not know.
