NHFD - Fire Safety Concern Archived66 Hobart St New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Edgewood
Are fire pits allowed in New Haven? I see an old SeeClickFix post from 2012 indicating they are not from the City of New Haven, but I cannot find anything either in the municipal code or on the Fire Marshal's page indicating what municipal code would disallow them.
Thanks!

Bike Share Station Location Request Archived175 Lighthouse Road New Haven, Connecticut - East ShoreNot sure if the actual park is the best location or perhaps just somewhere nearby in East Shore, but having a bike share spot near the beach would be cool.

Bike Share Station Location Request Archived214-218 Grand Avenue New Haven, Connecticut - Fair HavenI think this is a relatively high density area in Fair Haven where people often live/commute/grocery shop so I think it makes sense as a bike share location.

Twice in the last week I have seen people peeing in public, once at a bus stop, and once on a tree in New Haven Green. Both times in broad daylight.
Enough is enough. There are no portapotties. No bathrooms. Nothing.
Given the homeless population in New Haven, as well as the people walking and visiting, I think it's insane that there are literally no public bathrooms downtown.
I understand people probably pass out in them and deface them and do drugs in them but honestly, having people just peeing and doing drugs in public isn't significantly better. I would gladly donate to some kind of fund in order to get decent public bathrooms.

College Street would be best suited as a pedestrian mall, allowing continued human development in the area and providing a safe, pleasurable environment for citizens without the stress of vehicular traffic, which can use countless other roads.
Please see my argument here: : http://www.betweentworocks.com/no-cars-college-street/

Parks Request ArchivedConnecticut Avenue New Haven, Connecticut - AnnexThe gate separating the port area and East Shore Bike is impossible to pass on a bicycle. You need to get off your bike and walk through a tiny area. How expensive would it be to replace this with some of those posts that allow pedestrians/bicyclists through but not cars, like on the Canal Trail?

Constant Illegal Parking Archived220 Crown St New Haven, CT, New Haven, Connecticut - Town_GreenCars are constantly parked between high school and hotel, making this driveway sometimes completely impassable. There are clear No Parking signs everywhere, yet this is never enforced, and people seem to park illegally here all the time.

345-375 College Street New Haven, Connecticut - DowntownNot sure if it's a Daylight Savings issue but was going on a run last night and noticed not a single lamp was on on the west side of the green near the churches. It's extremely dark and/or dangerous due to these conditions.

3-9 Union Avenue New Haven, Connecticut - Long WharfOn State Street, there are several lights out under the Oak Street Connector overpass. I counted at least 3 lights out on Saturday, 11/8/14. This area would be safer for pedestrians if it was more well-lit.

Traffic/Road Safety Archived113-123 College Street New Haven, Connecticut - Town_Green
No lane markings where College St. crosses MLK Blvd -- cars regularly switch lanes without realizing it into bridge at 100 College St. leading to dangerous conditions.
Dotted lines indicating where lanes continue onto bridge would be helpful.
