    Garbage on this stretch of houses is getting out of control. These buildings are becoming worse and worse over the course of the past couple of months. From the front the buildings spilling over to the street, I literally watched a person throw a carton on the street before entering their home the other day. We do not want a rodent problem.
    Garbage on the streets overall in the city of newburgh has increased drastically and not sure why, the city must find a way to clean and get after properties for poor garbage containers or not enough and all over the street. Its bad.

    Hello,

    I live at 176 Montgomery street at unit 4 for 2 years now.
    I’ve complained several times of garbage issues generated by a tenant by the name of Julius Harris, this individual has an habit of hoarding his trash for weeks inside his apartment in violation of his lease and codes, then takes It out and let it sit in the yard instead of taking it to the curb (photo)
    It has been an ongoing issue. The landlord has been trying to do something but it seems the whole city apparatus is powerless at reining Mr Harris who seems to enjoy the tacit endorsement of his behavior by various agencies. See the photo of a note he taped today to the front door after the Landlord asked him politely to remove the garbage (photo) he also feels that your services and others are his personal weapon in his vendetta against the landlord, read the PS.
    Now the building has rodents, see the video, this is a unit I pay $1850 a month to live in. This situation is in no way shape or form the landlord’s fault, Carlyle Gordon is very diligent and has been been very reactive, he was already twice here in the past 3 days with an exterminator.
    The problem is Julius Harris and his garbage hoarding.
    I demand the city takes action immediately to remedy this unsanitary situation, and not by issuing some notice to Carlyle Gordon but taking aggressive action against Julius Harris.image2.jpegimage1.jpeg

    Short of something tangible I will contact my attorney and demand the city fulfills its duty to its citizens, Mr Harris rights stops where mines begin.
