The speed limit as per the signs is 45 mph. Many cars far exceed this speed limit as witnessed daily by myself and neighbors. Attempting to have the speed limit reduced is a lengthy process and in the end is not likely to change things. I am suggesting that a few of those digital signs displaying the drivers speed (flashing if speeding) be installed along the perimeter of Palisado ave. This area being as residential as it is, I am surprised that the speed limit is 45 mph. Something needs to be done to make people aware that speeds in excess of 60-70 mph is not acceptable. I think digital speed monitoring signs will help. Typically if someone is speeding they will flash or let the drive that they need to “slow down.”
