  • 3714 Cooley Dr. Lansing, Michigan - Lansing
This is a rental property. It appears the tenants have vacated the premises. There is a couch on the west end of the house (rained on several times), plus two more broken down couches on the back patio (also rain soaked). Also on the back patio is an open bag of trash, contents of which are blowing around. I certainly hope things can be corrected before my Easter guests have to witness such an eyesore.
  • Cooley Dr. Near Waverly Rd. Lansing, Michigan - Ingham County
Why doesn't anyone use their driveways? Is it my fault you don't want to block another vehicle in your own driveway? There is a pickup, license number YUP OD, who parks on the north side of the street days to a time without moving. Last night a mini van belonging to the rental unit at 3714 Cooley Dr., was parked on the south side of the street all night and is still there. Whenever there is a snowstorm, like today, and the plows come through during the night, invariably the street is never fully cleared as the plows have to weave around the vehicles on the street. That leaves dangerous snow mounds that cars have to navigate, especially when meeting another vehicle and one is forced to move away from the center of the road where it is all clear. I'm sure most people feel pretty confident that the police will never come down this street and issue a ticket so why not just do what one pleases. Despite the city ordinance of no parking on ANY city street between the hours of 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. there is blatant disregard for this law. I know the police force has a lot to deal with but if this street was patrolled frequently between the stated hours and tickets issued on a regular basis, maybe the abusers would finally get the message.
  • 3632 Cooley Dr Lansing, MI - Lansing
The street light near the driveway of 3632 is tipped to the side, seemingly not properly nested on the post. The total outage from York Rd. to Waverly Rd. still exists.
