This is one of at least 3 newly installed ADA sidewalk ramps that is underwater when it rains. On paper, the ramps are a great idea but in this location and on the corner of Powell and Melbourne what was installed is basically a 6 inch deep concrete lined puddle which is not up to par by ADA standards nor is it useful for completely mobile people.

this is the 3rd time ive reported this and at least 2 others have reported this in the past 4-5 years. These a big long holes that tires just get jammed in and move your car when they do. The potholes are just over a small hill heading south so people can't see them in advance. Raleigh and the state have been notified of this dangerous condition.

big pothole, southbound side, right lane of avent ferry near 2504. I've reported this here inthe past. Others have also at different times. I've also reported it directly to DOT.

drive west on lane and try to make a left turn to go south on Harrington. New construction fencing went up and the road is way too narrow. In time, the fence will be pushed outward, it will fill with construction materials, port o pottys, and probably a banner wrapped aroudn it so that the cahin link basically becomes a solid wall visually. It took months of dangerous conditions to make the harrington/jones corner an all way stop. Please consider making that stretch of harrington one way south during this construction project. At least paint a line down the middle. Everything about it looks like a way one to the driver going in either direction.

from what i understand, kaplan is 25 mph from near kent all the way to athens, but even our neighborhood is not sure of that due to the confusing school zone signs. most signs say 25 mph school zond and give hours, so many people think when it is not those hours, it is 35 mph. the signs are confusing. At least add a sign or two that are just 25 mph and dont include the school zone and hours info. Honestly, it is not signed for citizens, it is signed for planners.

the traffic sings telling people what lane to be in direct people to be in the new bike lane, while directing no one to the left turn lane. Just take them down if you are going to move them

Also, please look into Hillsborough and Harrington where the markings are so confusing that almost every car uses the bike lane as a right turn lane.

the reflectiveness of the former sign was the only way to see the road and know where to turn at night. it is a steep hill off of avent ferry, with LOTS of local resident traffic, buses, 100s of local student housing and a grocery store - all funneling through that turn, right near a gas station. it is not safe without the sign

construction debris is spilled across the northbound lane of harrington. to avoid it and still make a right hand turn on edenton, it requires getting in the middle of the street and still turning right. probably from construction site one block away

the construction fencing blocks the view of oncoming traffic. A 3 way stop sign during this consturciton period may help and would not hinder movement of traffic.

this is a big pothole, getting bigger daily it seems. People are swerving at the last minute into the left lane to miss it. Others are changing lanes at the last minute presumably because they drive that road each afternoon and remember at the last moment. It's not just damaging for the car hitting the pothole, its dangeroud for those nearby.

Raleigh, please get this construction company to clean up its mess on the street. The gravel and dirt is thrown across the street in front of the coffee shop. Stepping out of my parked car, I slid on gravel which is present daily. I've watched gravel be flung up from car tires, watched others have poor footing only 1 foot away from cars traveling at least 35 miles per hour.

Raleigh clean it up , or get the construction company to clean it up. I'm certain there are requirements to having a construction permit.

This is dangerous Raleigh. Do something please.

LOTS of gravel from construction is spilled on the road and shoulder/parking area right here. It is hard to get out of the car and walk-right next to traffic. I've also sat and watched as gravel was thrown up from tires pulling away. Please get consturction or the city to clean it up.

there are cones around it. it is in the street at the curb but has been growing bigger and now requires drivers to swerve across double line to miss it. I'm not positive of the address but its within a house or two

the parking lot abuts the sidewalk and cars hang over the sidewalk sometimes by 2 feet or more. I've asked the owners 3 times in the past year to keep the cars off the sidewalk and in their lot. You can not walk 2 abreast and you can not walk by with a stroller. Please have city zoning/ordinance, etc department contact them. You can even see this on google maps and google streetview.

pullen park overflow cars are driving on the greenway/sidewalk trail and driving over it to park on the grass area next to it. Cars are even driving on the trail in the opposite direction of traffic to reacht he next cross stree, forcing pedestrians bicyclists and children off the trail. It's bad. i was on my bicycle and had to get off the trail for a car. Police and parks dept need to come up with a plan to stop this.

I'm hoping the city can check this out again. When it was reported last time, the company did a good job of keeping on top of it. Now it seems the filter device on the stormdrain is missing and there is a lot of sediment.

erosion controls are not working at construction site. stormdrain seems seems so full of mud that it isn't draining and beginning to flood across road and entrance to NCSU deck
