Graffiti Acknowledged700 Oaklawn Ave Chula Vista, CA 91910, USA - NorthwestI was trying to do my civic duty and help out our city by removing some tagging.
But apparently, our subcontractors aren't using materials that are up to par with what the city uses. hence, there is no writing on the sign and the graffiti wipes I got from Public Works.

Streets ArchivedJ St & Oaklawn Ave Chula Vista, CA, 91910, USA - Northwest
Good afternoon Mr. Roy,
We recently received an inquiry from you regarding the existing crosswalk at the corner of J Street and Oaklawn Avenue. Your inquiry was in relation to City CIP Project “Pedestrian and Guardrail Improvements at Various Locations” (CIP No. TRF0429). The crosswalk in question is actually a proposed improvement included in the CIP Project# STL0432/STL0447, which is currently under construction.
This particular location (Location #8 of 25 locations in the project) will see a new ramp installed near the southeast corner of the intersection, as well as a new crosswalk (see below). The existing crosswalk will be removed, with barricades installed appropriately. The ramp is currently scheduled to be installed by the end of this week (barring any schedule changes by the contractor). The schedule for the installation of the new crosswalk will follow the installation of the new ADA ramps. Currently, the Contractor schedule indicates overall project completion (all locations) by the end of June. If you have any further questions regarding schedule, please contact me at the email or phone number below.
Best regards,
Alan Reyes
