A large sugar maple tree is dying. The top of the tree is dead wood. About three feet up the base of the tree the bark has broken off and exposed dead wood inside. It's only a matter of time before the tree, 100+ feet high, falls on the utility wires and there will be no utilities!

Culvert not large enough to accommodate Spring water run-off flooding road 5-6" creating hazardous driving condition. Upstream water pressure on roadway could cause washout. Water backup, flooding, on private property causes tree, driveway, landscape and house damage.

Culvert is too small to accommodate Spring water run-off resulting in water over flowing road running North to a low spot and running off the Eastern side of the road eroding the 10' embankment and portions of the road way. DPW repaired embankment and roadway three times with crushed stone and asphalt but not addressed culvert capacity.

Culvert under Honey Pot Rd .35 miles southbound from Granville Rd. intersection is clogged/not operating. As a result water run-off remains on roadway at dangerous curb. This situation causes pavement to erode and heave during Winter causing pot holes and further narrowing the already narrow roadway. Repairing the culvert would improve drainage, eliminate constant pot hole repair, standing water and Winter ice at a very dangerous curve.

Two years ago the City, DPW, removed a large dying maple tree in front of my house but left the stump. Per the worker's request I allowed the crew to work on my personal property to remove the tree for speed (less time for removal) safety (electric utilities) and cost (no police for traffic control and less time for work).
