I began renting an apartment here (unit #10), but had to move out after staying two nights because it was unable to be adequately heated at night. It has one old gas heater on a wall (the pilot light goes out frequently), and very thin, poorly sealed windows, and I suspect these are not up to code. Also, the landlord was using a stove that leaked gas, and was red-tagged three times for being not code-compliant and unsafe. He finally replaced it, but I suspect the replacement may also be out of code. I am requesting an inspection of the property in order to help verify these conditions, because I had to break the lease to move out early, and the landlord is threatening legal action.
