Yesterday the detour for Mt; Vernon & Spalding Rd directed traffic to a 4-way stop at Happy Hollow and Dunwoody Club. This caused traffic to back up for over a mile! There was almost no traffic coming up or down Happy Hollow at the time, so why was there no police employee to direct traffic at that intersection to prevent the backup? Cars could have been directed to turn left as necessary, letting other traffic on Happy Hollow proceed as directed. It took me over 20 minutes to go a little over a mile at 4:50 pm yesterday. This is unacceptable.

Dunwoody Police Dept investigated a burglary today at the house next door at 4700 Dunwoody Club that occurred yesterday. They stopped to talk to me to see if I knew anything. The officer mentioned that the grass and weeds are waist tall in the back yard of the house next to it - 4775 Dunwoody Club Drive. We have had problems with these owners in the past. Officer suggested I contact code enforcement again.

These are in the sidewalk starting approximately at the marker and going south. See photo of first break.

White van parked on the grass with tag that expired Jan. 2014. Another car parked behind it has a current tag, but neither one looks like it has moved for awhile. Suspect neither car runs.

Brush is piled high for a good distance on the sidewalk, blocking sidewalk access.

This is a continuing problem, have seen it several times. Construction trucks park in front of the newly created subdivision, blocking westbound lane, no flagmen, forcing traffic to cross the center line to pass. There is a dangerous curve right there and someone is going to have a head on collision if this continues. Today when I passed there were THREE concrete trucks parked there. When I came back 30 mins later, one was still there, flashers going. They apparently view this as an appropriate place to park - it is NOT.

In danger of falling across roadway! Owner needs to remove ASAP.

There does not seem to be any recent construction work going to complete this sidewalk. There are utility signs and it appears the water company is involved. This is the last piece of unfinished sidewalk going from Dunwoody Club to Peeler. When is estimated completion? We are tired of walking in the road around the construction.

Several trash cans full of construction debris have been sitting next to the street in front of this address for (at least) several weeks. This type of debris will not be picked up by regular sanitation crews.

Overgrown grass needs cutting

Cannot find any estimated date of completion on city website as of 1/21/2013. Cannot understand why it is unfinished, when a new sidewalk was recently constructed on Mt. Vernon Rd across the street from an existing sidewalk. Why would that project receive priority over several neighborhoods that open into Happy Hollow without completed sidewalks?
