This park where 33rd curves to 34th has been home to a tent city for the last 3 years. The inhabitants graffiti the overpasses, vandalize property, break into cars, and terrorize our local residents. The city has neglected this area for years, and I'm past my wits on this. I have called police several times to report the problem, but the city continues to neglect the issue. We CANNOT allow our city to be overrun by people who believe it is their RIGHT to graffiti public property and terrorize residents. PLEASE, PLEASE do something about this, because our neighborhood is unlivable, unwelcome, and unpleasant with these people living here. It is not safe to allow these people to vandalize, steal, and deface public and private property. Parents are fearful to bring their kids to the park or walk their dogs in the area. The community is begging you to clean this up.
