The end of my driveway and adjacent road shoulder are washing out again with the heavy spring rain. This could eventually undermine the road itself. Hopefully, the county road commission will be out to repair it temporarily as they've done before, but it would be nice to have a permanent fix.

As happens about every other year, the end of our driveway and adjacent shoulder have washed out in the rainstorm, right after the road commission "repaired" it with dirt. Didn't see that coming...

Recently after heavy rains the pond down the street on the east side of the road overflowed into Sevenmile Creek via a drainage ditch, which is normal. But then a few days later it unexpectedly began to drain away. We could see a whirlpool where it was draining, and on the other side of the road, water could be seen welling up and forming a new pond. Now the original pond is a mud pit, something we've never seen happen. Since the pond drained under the road, I wonder if someone should check the integrity of the road substructure. Maybe this was an old drainpipe, or maybe it was done deliberately, but it's sure an eyesore now.

The roads in Bedford Township are being repaved this summer, which is badly needed. But at the end of my driveway, unlike many others in the area, they didn't extend the asphalt into the driveway at all. The result is that the bottom of my driveway washes out in heavy rain, creating a channel which, over time, will undermine the new road itself. I can fill this in with gravel, but it will just wash out again the next heavy rainfall. For the sake of the road, this should be filled in with asphalt. 23940 Collier Ave.

Bad potholes on Collier Ave, especially between Meachem and Baseline. The ones pictured are by no means the worst.
