  • Capital Area Greenway Raleigh, NC, 27606, USA - Southwest
Walking eastbound on the Rocky branch Trail Greenway parallel with Western Boulevard, almost to the intersection with Hunt Drive, there is a low-hanging tree over the trail. Tree is dead, and has fallen down, being supported by vines.
  • 511 Bilyeu St Raleigh, North Carolina, 27606 - Southwest
Storm drain on Bilyeu near the corner of Kirby and Bilyeu (and the greenway) is missing a cover. The yellow greenway post was damaged by the same driver, and no longer stands up.
  • 515 Ashe Ave Raleigh, NC, 27606, USA - Hillsborough

The rocky branch greenway trail runs right next to western Blvd near the bus stop where Bilyeu Street used to intersect Western. Pedestrians and bikers are dangerously close to traffic traveling 45+ mph here, going east-bound on western.

Could a fence or barrier (like the wooden fences in other areas of the greenway) be installed between the greenway and Western Blvd at this spot?

Trashcan down, and trash on the greenway

A greenway trash can is down on the Rocky branch trail portion of the Greenway, near the intersection of Kirby street and Bilyeu street by western Blvd. The trash can is laying on its side next to the greenway. As a result, this section of greenway (for about a block on either side
of the trashcan) is littered with trash. Trash cleanup, and replacement of the can is needed.

  • 500-612 Kirby St Raleigh, NC, 27606, USA - Southwest
Cars are routinely cutting the corner where Kirby St and Bilyeu St meet (at addresses 511 Bilyeu St and 512 Kirby Street). This is causing a huge mud hole which is not only unsightly but becomes a lake when it rains, and a breeding ground for mosquitos in the summer. The problem has gotten worse since the closure of Bilyeu St to Western. A curb is desperately needed, or at the least some big (2-3 ft tall) rocks placed here to deter drivers from leaving the pavement.
  • Pothole Archiviato
512 Kirby Street Raleigh, North Carolina - Southwest
There's a large pothole in the path of drivers on Kirby Street near the northern intersection with Bilyeu (the Kirby-Bilyeu intersection closest to Western Blvd)
  • 512 Kirby Street Raleigh, North Carolina - Southwest
A large tree fell during the hurricane and is impeding Kirby Street directly across the street from 512 Kirby Street. The tree originated on city property, not private (behind the greenway) and is now covering a fire hydrant and obstructing half of the road.
