These may be flagged as duplicates, they are not, just different issues and my concern to get someone to look at the engineering from 30 years ago and deficiencies in the roadbed UNDER the pavement. Our Woodlot pavement has been heaving out for 25 years. The patches don't last. At the very top of the neighborhood is one of these water access points that has been leaking for years. This one is further down Woodlot and I've almost crashed on it many times on my bicycle.
I'm worried about all of these issues because they are underneath, perhaps the original developer didn't do the road correctly, but the last thing is to have it paved all new and then immediately for it to crumble from underneath.

Another in the Woodlot series. They are beginning repaving this week. I want to avoid them grinding off and resurfacing in many places with significant roadbed issues for 25 years. The new pavement will fail like the old.
This issue is on the bottom of Woodnote Lane. There is a HUGE depression/swale across 2/3 of the road that has cracked and broken the curbs and storm drain entrance
IMHO, the underlying roadbed needs a rock and stone rebuild like most of the areas I'm calling attention to in these requests. I have many, many more pictures of each of these but can only post one. While you can't see much in this one, the depression will bottom out a car climbing the hill.

Continuing the series. This is also in Woodlot. They began grinding and repaving today for the first time in almost 30 years. Thank you.
However, there are several places in the neighborhood with significant roadbed issues for the entire 25+ years we've been here since building new.
This is at the bottom of the hill on Wooded Way in front of my house. It appears there is some kind of concrete structure under the road and the asphalt has constantly been heaving out, cracking, flaking and uneven Perhaps this has something to do with the storm drains under the roadway leading to the creek which leads to the Middle Patuxent at the rear of the 'hood or maybe something to do with the large silt basin, runoff during the building that was filled in and now is a large open space between our house and the neighbor next to the open space lot.
In any case, my great fear with all of these issues is that if the asphalt is simply ground off and then fresh laid over these spots on Woodlot Road, Wooded Way, Woodnote Lane, it won't even be a year or two and the new pavement will simply peel off like it does on the county roads that used to be gravel and never had a proper roadbed (Homewood, Folly Quarter, Triadelphia, etc.).

I am going to send a series of reports because I cannot attach all of the pictures from Woodlot. Sorry for the duplicate reports.
Woodlot is about to be repaved starting today.
Immediate action needs to be taken in several places in the neighborhood where the underlying roadbed is inadequate or compromised causing repeated and quick delamination of the pavement and repairs. I have lived in Woodlot since we built our house there in 1995-1996. I am an avid cyclist and have come close to being knocked off my bicycle coming and going hitting potholes and open fissures in the pavement.
These places are all very obvious. The MOST important one is on Woodlot Road here and on the next report. There is a silt retention pond and drains that run under the roadway. Ever since the 1990's this area has repeatedly degenerated, been patched, over and over.

Tonight I sat through SEVERAL cycles of the light at RT-290 coming down the hill of Convict Hill NB with it never changing. If a car or cars would have come and tripped the right lane for straight or right turn it may have changed. Later when returning, I noticed cars were turning left on red since the light never changed and cars backing up waiting.

Previously reported, claimed to have been addressed and was closed and archived. There is NO CHANGE to the status of this sinking asphalt and cracking of pavement in this curve.
    https://seeclickfix.com/issues/1208842

There are a lot of previous repairs on this 0.6 mile section of road, several areas around water taps that are also sinking and degrading quickly. Patching is a minimum need, at the very entrance coming off of Harper's Farm Road and in particular this growing collapse of the pavement in the curve partway down the hill is getting worse and is dangerous. Thanks, Stuart.
