The Mayor, Cambridge Police Department, City Manager's Office, and BARCC will be holding a pledge taking event on the steps of City Hall Wednesday, April 10, at 12 noon.

We need the following set up before the event:
-Podium w/ City Seal
-Microphone
-Speakers
-2 tables for information

For the Mayor's Resource Connector, we need 15 tables set up with two chairs each on the 1st and 2nd floor of City Hall. The event is Monday, January 28, from 5-8pm. Contact person is Luis Vasquez

Harvey Street should be posted as a "dead end street" for semis and other very long trucks. Many trucks come down Harvey Street hoping to turn left onto Clifton to go either to the housing project construction site at the top of the street or to one of the two Fresh Pond shopping malls only to have to back up to Cedar Street.

Is it possible to post a sign on Cedar Street at the Harvey Street intersection that says "No Trucks Over 2 1/2 Tons" with one that reads "No Trucks Over 2 1/2 Tons - Unless Making Local Deliveries?"

Residents at 85 Gore St have planters on the public sidewalks outside of their ground level windows. Most of them are not causing a problem, except where one is placed between the house and a street tree, narrowing the passable sidewalk to less than is ADA compliant. Piles of winter snow further exacerbate the problem for Helen, who is legally blind.

At the very least, the City could work with the owners to move one of the planters so that it doesn’t cause a pinch point during the winter, or even year round.

This is being resubmitted from a 12.8.15 CRS report that was left open. Resident complained that lack of "4-way stop" signs beneath stop signs at intersection of Dudley and Cedar causes confusion to drivers who are not properly informed of the traffic pattern.
