I know this is a State traffic signal, but the CT DOT site doesn't have an option for questions. This signal has been blinking for over a week. Between folks turning left out of the gas station and those folks who don't understand how the flashing lights work, it has become dangerous. Is this a problem with the lights that is being addressed or is it permanent?

The cul de sac needs to be cleared of weeds. It is very overgrown. A weeding followed by a good mulching would probably keep it in check for most of the summer.

The front edge of the curb on the cul de sac island has been damaged by snow plows. The very leading edge is completely gone.

I know that this signal is under the jurisdiction of the State, but perhaps this will still get to the correct person. This traffic light does not change from flashing to working until 7:00 am. It used to change at 6:00 am. I think it was not adjusted for Daylight Savings Time. By 6:30 am, the traffic on Poquonock is starting to pick up. The sight-lines to the south (northbound traffic) are not long. This light should switch from flashing to working before 7:00 am

The cul de sac on Silver Birch Lane is under the responsibility of the Town. It has not been maintained in several years despite many calls by residents to Public Works. The ragweed is overgrown, there are several years' worth of leaves and the birch trees need pruning. We are not asking for elaborate landscaping, just a good clean-up of the weeds, removal of the leaves and pruning of the birch trees. Thank you.
