Accident damaged and partly on cycle lane. Could be at my Kuringai station not Mt Colah

Rain debris over shoulder southbound Berowra to Hornsby. First downhill at Berowra in particular

Vehicles are parked on the shoulder forcing cyclists into the left hand lane of the Pacific Highway, just downstream of the Bobbin Head Road lights. This is a high traffic area, therefore high risk and sever consequence of vehicle and bicycle collision. The shoulder is initially wide enough for parking and bikes, then narrows., What about restricting parking to areas that are wide enough to provide safe passage for cyclists and use some green paint to make the narrow bits as a bike land shoulder? Two bolt heads protruding 6cm from steel cover in cycle lace. Bike speeds could be 30 km/Hr plus in this location and traffic on the highway make it impossible to avoid running on the plates. Extremely unprofessional and would lead to an adverse finding if ends up in court due to an accident. Crew involved should be counselled and retrained in risk and hazard management. This shows a total lack of understand of risk and hazard management
