Our block in Thoroughgood wasn't picked up yesterday.

The ditch in front of my house is non existent. When Verizon laid the Fios lines a number of years ago they left dirt & debris. So when it rains like today the water doesn't drained. You recently redug the ditches on Hermitage. But we have a much worse drainage problem on Thoroughgood Drive. Please give us the same ditch digging effort so the stormwater will drain as intended.

Water doesn't flow through the culvert in my front yard. After a rainstorm it has to be absorbed into the ground. The problem started when Verizon put in the Fios lines. They didn't return the ditch to its proper condition. Water can't flow because it's being blocked by the dirt that Verizon left. You keep cleaning the culverts. But that isn't the problem. I no longer have a functioning, flowing ditch.

Hurricane Matthew trees from my back yard. Just got tree guys over here today. They should finish tomorrow. 3 large rotten trees that they cut up.

Our yards & the street have flooded since the Church Point drainage ditch & pond were put in. I've lived in this house 30 years. There was never flooding before. The ditch isn't adequate for all the Stormwater that runs into it. Their side was graded higher. So all their water runs into our yards & Thoroughgood Drive. Something needs to be done to correct this problem. These are the first two houses on the north side of Thoroughgood Drive at the Pleasure House Road entrance.

I thought I was supposed to submit this as bulk items to be picked up by the big truck with the arms. My neighbor, who arranged for the evergreen limbs to be cut just called & said your men wouldn't take them. They told her a supervisor would have to be contacted. Please help. These 4 foot cut evergreen limbs are covering entire front of my yard including the drainage ditch. And we're a busy thoroughfare to the Thoroughgood House. If I had been home I wouldn't have let them do the trimming without carrying the limbs away. I'm a widow with rheumatoid arthritis & spinal/nerve issues so this is not in my ability to fix. I need help. I've lived in this house & supported this city for 30 years. I want my neighborhood & the city to look nice. Please help!!
