Garbage can on West Park Ave at entry to Edgewood Park is overflowing and needs to be emptied.

So is the one at West Park Av and Pendleton. Could Public Works empty these on their weekly runs? They are going right by them. With a garbage truck. Seems like it would be the most efficient thing to do. Not that common sense and efficiency should be something government and public unions would even consider. Sorry, I just couldn't help myself with that last sentence. It would be nice to reward the people who actually put garbage in garbage cans by emptying those cans. As an aside, how many tickets are issued annually for littering? I would love to see an undercover operation targeting litter bugs. After a few well publicized busts, maybe people would think twice about trashing roads, sidewalks, and parks.

Alexey, I agree, littering is a problem. Rewarding those who use the trash cans by emptying them regularly would be great.
