Gnome, thanks to you and Bonoca, I can no longer receive email updates for the important issues that are in need of repair, pick up and clean up. Are the 2 of you so bored that you have nothing better to do than make snarky comments on issues that are reported? There are potholes all over the city, we have had a hard winter and every time it snows or ices, more potholes pop up. The city will get them taken care of as quickly as they can. I wish you two would stop playing the martyr and just let the city do their job. If the 2 of you are so upset with the goings on of the C of R, try Henrico or Chesterfield.
Be informed before you complain. The following is from the city's website. And by the way, we are very lucky to have this service, especially one that will pick up the larger items that they do.
"Citizens can place large bulk items, such as sofas, mattresses and brush, beside their Supercans. These items will be picked up at no charge within a 2 - 4 week period. There is a $50 fee to dispose of appliances, which can be conveniently be added to the customer's utility bill. Refuse must be placed on the curb no later than 7 a.m. on the pick-up day."
Please refrain from posting your "thoughts" so those of us that want to be informed can be without being bombarded with emails with your senseless comments.
Thanking you in advance.
