Description

Sidewalk at bottom of Fontaine just ends at Golf Links Rd., and the end is treacherous, all buckled up, may be tree roots, not sure. Lots of people walk here, and this is the only sidewalk coming down Fontaine from the KEOS park, on this one side of the street, nothing on the opposite side. The sidewalk is cracked and big bump, then drops off/down where it just ends there - it needs fixed, and should be extended at least around the corner of Golf Links where flatter, as Fontaine hill is very steep, and need a crosswalk to the other side of Golf Links Rd, the only other sidewalk. There is NO sidewalk connection, no lights, this intersection is SO busy, speeding traffic, and very dangerous for pedestrians, there is NOWHERE to cross safely across Golf Links or across Fontaine here - and there are bus stops here on both sides of both streets too. There is NO sidewalk on the other side of Fontaine going up and down that side of the street from Golf Links Rd. all the way up to KEOS park, until the very top of the hill at the school. Lots of kids walk up and down to school, and an AC Transit designated school bus, walking safety should be improved here.
