Description
The sidewalk on Glenwood, behind the Hebrew Day School at 404 Partridge (I would assume they are responsible since the backside of the property runs along here, and they probably just believe they need to clear the front side along Partridge) has yet to be cleared since the last storm several weeks ago. This a long stretch of walk which forces school kids going to New Scotland Elementary to have to walk along the road. With reports of more snow on Wednesday/Thursday, this should be addressed ASAP!

The City of Albany does nothing.
I think they need to be fined every time this happens...
The threat of fines have a way of illiciting action; quickly.
Or legal action
Since there seems to be no sense of urgency or regard for safety, by this school, I have to assume there are no threats of fines.
The nice weather has a whole other set of problems, unmowed grass. Large tree branches are left on the sidewalk after big wind storms, again forcing people to either walk in the road or wade through the grass (think: ticks)
I have gone and spoken to the school myself (as a resident of this street)
The response was a shrug of the shoulders and "what are you going to do"? (!!!)
This school is not a good neighbour; they simply don't seem to care and the City of Albany seems to not care either. They certainly are not enforcing the standard the rest of us are required to follow.
