Description
This vacant lot seems abandoned. There are a pile of 25 - 30 tires strewn about the sidewalk. Residents of N. Reese St. dump their garbage bags here (I, myself, have seen this done 3 times). Other items such as carpet ripped from a dwelling, half a water heater and other items are dumped here.
Not only dirty but dangerous.

Ticket #1612055. Ticket forwarded to Neighborhood Services for follow-up. The process for resolution is as follows:
Pictures will be taken of the violation and notices will be sent to the property owner (thirty business days).
Property owners will have a specified time (twenty business days) to comply with the violation notice. Once the compliance period is over, a re-inspection of the property will occur (ten business days).
If owner complies with the notice (cleans the vacant lot), no work will be performed by the City and the case will be closed.
If the owner does not comply, a City Crew will be assigned to clean the property (thirty business days) and the property owner will be billed for all cost associated with the clean up.
This process may take up to 90 days from the initial request to the date of the clean up, possibly longer in the summer months.
After the timeframe of your request has passed, you can check the status of your ticket by calling 311 Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8 p.m. Just give us the ticket number and we can check it for you. You can also go online to www.phila.gov/philly311 and track your request. Thank you. (mb)

This issue is not closed. The site is a mess and has been since I moved into the area 10 months ago.
Three days ago, an additional layer of very vibrant and illicit graffiti has been completed at this site.
The tires are over taking the street, the lot itself is an eyesore and would do well to be cleaned up and then seeded with wild flowers.

While the carpet and water heater half may be gone, the 25 - 30 tires are still there and now they're covered in graffiti. There is still trash strewn about. This needs to be remedied.
With the murder of Sabina Rose O'Donnell last summer mere blocks from here in an abandoned lots such as this, the city of Philadelphia *needs* to be more vigilant in forcing lot owners to take care of them or Philly needs to step in and do so, then fine the owner in addition to the clean up costs.
Also, if anyone knows where tax records can be found on this property, I'd love to know.

Still completely trashed and now even worse.
• 25 - 30 discarded tires -still- on the sidewalk. Occasionally one rolls/is rolled into the street.
• It has once again turned into a garbage bag dump from the small street surrounding the green/"park" across the street.
• There is now a pile of discarded bricks in the entry.
• Looks like someone decided to break a nice amount of glass there too.
• The gate is no longer locked. It's been broken open - a bit scary.
• This is not only an eye sore but it's also dangerous to neighborhood residents.
I'm not even worried about the graffiti *at this point*. I just want to see it cleaned up.
S.C. VON GEHL and myself have provided photos, complained and nothing has been done.
Why Philly311?
(Like your wild flower seed idea, VON GEHL)
"Track This Service" is not on the 311 site. In fact, the site looks like it could use an update. Tweets to 311 go un-acknowledged.
Someone humor me and help me to figure out how to find out if the taxes have been paid on this property. Anyone know?
