You Don't own the street, people have the right to park were ever they want. if you have an issue take it up with the mayor.

Apparently you don't live on the street and your probable one of those inconsiderate people that don't care and probably can't park to save your life like all the rest of those idiots that double park or have their car hanging out half way in the street or parking in handicap spaces because it doesn't affect you.That's why its good for those people to park in a big parking lot instead of our narrow street what don't you get ? Read it again , PARKING LOT. And forget talking to the mayor take a look at Collingdale its been going downhill for some time now.

FOR YOUR INFO, THERE IS IN FACT A SIGN IN THE HALL THAT SAYS PLEASE USE PARKING LOT OUT FRONT AND CHUCH LOT TO THE LEFT OF THE BUILDING. THE FIREHOUSE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PEOPLE PARKING ON THE STREET, THEY HAVE LIVES TO SAVE NOT CARING ABOUT WHO PARKS WERE, SO GET A LIFE, WHO EVER YOU ARE, DON'T LIKE IT THEN MOVE. THE FIRE HOUSE HAS BEEN THERE MUCH LONGER THEN YOU AND YOUR HOUSE.

To C Im glad you inform me they have a sign in the Firehose #2 to tell everyone where to park, but it must be a very small sign, because they either can't see it or read it. Also I wish you stay on the subject it's about parking not firemen for I have a great respect for all our men and women that serves our community so don't even try to go there. Im talking about who ever rents out the firehose they should try to show some respect to everyone who lives around the firehouse and try to tell the people they rent to make it clear where to park.

@keepingitreal, you need to attend a meeting at the firehouse (if you call they will till you when the next one is), becuase they are in charge of who they rent the hall to, even knowing its not them who does the rental, they are still in charge of it, im sure if you go talk to them they will work with you, but you need to keep in mind there is no law out there that states they can't park there becuase you don't pay for your parking spot, becuase its a public street. good luck with it.

There is a sign in the hall telling people where to park. It is also told to each renter where to park and where to tell the guest to park. Sometimes though people have to unload the supplies for party and need to park there to do this. Like the other poster said you do not own the street. And the firehouse lot would be able to handle all the cars if the auto repair shop didnt have 25 spots taken with broken down cars. Maybe you should research this before you start blaming the renters of the hall.

First of all I never said I own the street and I don't need any research that just shows how arrogant you are,I was just trying to ask your renters to show some curtsey and park in the lot you don't have to tell me that some park in front to unload their party stuff that's understandable I think anybody can figure that out . and your pretty quick to blame the auto repair shop.I see allot of empty spots all the time I don't need any research I live here , maybe you should take some notice instead of just looking in your wallet.

I was just saying from an observer of the street that the auto place uses alot of spaces. I have no connection to the firehouse whatsoever. I have been down that street hundreds of times and all the spots near the firehouse are taken by the firemen who hang there, plus the park in there lot. I would rather have no parking spots on the street and house full of fireman then your precious parking spot.
