Thank you for your comment and suggestion. The signal at Lincoln / Upper / Mt. Gate operates on a first come first serve basis. There are some timers that give preference to keeping the main street (Lincoln & Upper) green. At the same time we do not want to delay the side street (Mt. Gate) by making them wait when no one is coming. That being said, we have taken a look at how this traffic signal is operating and have made some adjustments to try to reduce the number of right turns activating the side street while keeping delays to a minimum.
