You concerned with people playing basketball in the street??!! Wow. Be happy they aren't fighting or shooting in the middle of the street. Basketball. That's the best you could come up with in 'fixing things'? How about better police protection or them doing their job properly; how about a way to get real criminals off the street; how about those potholes you snidely remarked about? Grow up!!!!

Wow, Taking it day to day it seems that you like to look at a run down ghetto. I DO NOT! It seems you don't know the difference between a street and a play ground. Do you know the difference between a street and side walk? One you walk on and the other you drive on. The police problem is something this was not designed for. You may want to attend a city council meeting or two. I only hope that everything that I point out gets fixed and makes the crap hole you love so well looks better. Yea you can play ball at a playground or in your yard, but with all the MAJOR problems that plague Pontiac, why concern myself with people playing a harmless game of basketball. I don't have to go to a City Meeting to know that the PPD is not doing their jobs nor to see what is tedious and unimportant. Here's what it boils down to---- if it's ghetto to play basketball, street hockey, riding your bike, rollarblading/skating, etc, in the street, then go where you won't have those problems.

Here let me help you. I never said it was ghetto to play basketball. Many people play basketball, granted most do it in a gym or play ground. I really give two squirts less if this problem is fixed since I have enough common sense not to play in the street. (It appears you and many others don't) I gaurantee this. You and the others would be the first to cry wolf if someone got hit or killed by a car!
