All vehicles in major violations such as corner clearance safety issues were issued citations. We did not ticket vehicles in the bicycle lane as the lane itself is half covered in snow. The department of public works is working diligently to clear streets still covered in snow and properly prepare for Mondays snowfall. As a year round cyclist, I understand the importance of bicycle safety and the frustration of cycling in the winter. Please make sure to bicycle as safely as possible until the city is able to plow the designated bicycle lanes and return the snow covered streets to normal manageable levels.
