Description
17 Nash Street has been condemned due to hazardous mold many months ago. I am concerned that the roof continues to leak the mold continues to grow, squirles have taken over the house, roaches are breeding like crazy. The city/community needs to control this serious and dangerous health hazard and take some steps to contain these conditions while the fate of this house is decided.

In addition, that house is a dump and the owner has multiple foreclosures in the neighborhood.

Augustine,
In most of New Haven there is significant lead paint contamination in soil. In your part of town, there is probably some heavy metal content becuase there were printers, brass works and other industrial facilities there or nearby. You should consider using raised beds or lining your in ground planting beds with a plastic liner. I know it doesn't sound appetizing but its better than mercury.
