I have ruined 2 wheels, two tires and my front end is messed up due to potholes on Brown rd. and on Walton. My family and friends dont even want to visit me up here and I dont blame them. I wonder if anyone cares? I am so ticked!!!!!

Thank you, DPW, for taking the time to respond. Outside of repairing the damaged roads, do you think the county has any remedies available to people whose cars were substantially damaged by these roads? Although I'm sure that the onus is on the car owner to prove it, I have replacement receipts for wheels and tires, tow truck records (on one impact, both wheels were damaged) and repair estimates for front end damage to prove it.

University has been repaired.

University Rd. is fixed- my car's suspension, including shocks, struts, etc, are still all messed up. My car that I have taken such good care of now drives like a cement truck. I got an estimate of 2300 for the suspension alone, not including the wheels and tires I replaced.

Nevertheless, thank you Jimmy for your concern and the information. Looking at the claim form, however, it seems that the onus of proof necessary to make a successful claim is, even if possible, very difficult.

They are replacing the road on University.
