Speeding is a problem everywhere in Hollywood, but some of the most blatantly troublesome speeding occurs on north Surf Road north of north beach park which should be blocked off to traffic because it is a recreation area as well as being used by bikers, walkers, runners, dog walkers, and bladers. That alone makes it dangerous, but for some reason vehicular "cruisers" and speeders are allowed to slalom through the crowds unticketed. Maybe when some child gets run over the Disneyizing HPD will do something about this dangerous problem, but for now they just sit on side streets and read their newspapers or ogle beach goers...
