At this intersection of 3rd avenue north, traffic from 3rd who need to turn right onto Jefferson must get over in the far right lane. However, vehicles are already in that lane if they're turning off of Jackson/2nd. Who has the right of way here? Can I recommend a yield sign for either vehicles on 3rd or those merging from Jackson? Thanks!

Motorists traveling from 2nd Av N/Jackson St to 3rd av N have an exclusive marked right lane and therefore motorists on 3rd Av N wanting to get into the right turn lane must yield to those in that lane. This is not a yield situation, but a merge lane scenario. Therefore, we do not recommend a "Yield" sign at this location. A work order has been issued to refurbish the markings, and we will install a merge sign in avance of the merge.
