These potholes are as bad as every. Nearly impossible to avoid. Sue Newton.

It seems clear that the town of Newton has no intent to repair these potholes. I suggest legal action.

Since the town seems committed to growing this pothole field, I think we should organize a do it yourself repair of this road. If people would start coming by with this cheap product from Lowes:

we could have this situation resolved all by ourselves.

From a previous investigation into this, note the signage: this portion of the road is a "Private Way" and as such not maintained by the city. I have seen city trucks working on it years back , but there seems to be no such official law that they must.

I think the homeowners on the street who obviously support the town policy of no repairs should be sued for all damages. The potholes remain.

The minefield of potholes on Hammondswood Rd. were in full repair as of the begining of February 2019. Since then one deep pothole has appeared. I will report it when I get a chance.
