@ Jan Person. Call 311 immediately. Ask where to send your bill for your new tire. They will send you a claim form. Include a picture of the pothole with a ruler beside it. It will take months to get your money, but you shouldn't be out a new tire because the City doesn't do its job.
There are hundreds of pothole repair requests on this site and nothing has been done. You would think it would be less expensive for the City to repair the darn things than to have to continue to pay for everyone's new tires. But hey, that would make sense wouldn't it?!

This City is so poorly managed... it sickens me to see how the Capitol of my Beloved Homeland has fallen in the past 14 years.
Where is the public outrage that our Mayor and City Councilmen do not immediately hold our Public workers accountable for failure of maintenance.
Where are our absentee City Leaders? Are our leaders out at another city looking at ball park stadiums or on vacation or at they some banquet in D.C.?
