This issue was first reported to See Click Fix in October 2013. The situation still exists. Please research and advise.

I am a homeowner in The Fields and volunteer as the Homeowners' Association President.

At 2305 Brimwater Drive there is a burned out hulk of an automobile sitting in the driveway of this house.

My understanding from the Community Manager is as follows:

"...This property is owned by Bank of America since Feb 2012 per Wake County Register of Deeds. The account was turned over to the attorney for collection and has been paid in through the third quarter. We have sent two letters to Bank of America regarding the inoperable vehicle in the driveway. The next step is to schedule a violation hearing. I don’t think we have any other recourse since the car is parked in the driveway which is private property..."

Can the City of Raleigh assist in convincing the homeowners -- whomever they might be -- to remove this eyesore from the property? It is likely a haven for small critters and it's presence might encourage others not to maintain their property if nothing is done to remedy the situation.
