It's not just the new administration. It's been this way for the 20+ yrs. I've been living here. The DPW takes no pride in their work, and it appears there is no oversight. The city always appears broken and dirty. As for so called quality of life laws, they are not enforced by the police dept. if they even exist in New Haven.

If the city issued fines for this, they themselves would be broke because they are the worst culprits. The sidewalks and traffic islands that are the city's responsibility are left untouched for weeks after snowstorms, leaving citizens to clamber over snowbanks at intersections and/or walk for long stretches in the slushy, slippery streets. New Haven is a horrible, horrible place to live in the winter because the city has not figured out how to deal with snow.

This was my report ( The owner of this property 318 quinnipiac av never clean the sidewalk. wen snow, people have to walk in the street and this side of Quinnipiac is very dangerous than you. ) no results this is all a big show for people to think that the city is doing something owners of these properties do not live in new haven so they do not care. this is ( BS)
