Description

The last major snow fall and subsequent freeze has caused the left lane at S Frontage Rd and Park St to accumulate a large amount of ice. Since it's hard to see it coming (although it is piled up quite high), a lot of cars have to quickly merge right or (as I saw today) risk spinning out into the right lane.

I doubt snow plows could clear this out and there really is so much ice I doubt salt could do much to solve the problem. Since we're looking at another week at least until the temperatures go up, maybe the lane should be closed to prevent accidents?
