There was a flyer placed in everyones mailbox that explains how to get the street on the list for paving. If no one makes any noise the issue will be ignored. Please encourage friends and neighbors to call the number listed on the flyer you will reach an actual person

beautification needs to take place in our area by ourselves and the town. Lets do our part and also get the town to do their part. Which is the road. Pof the road is horrible, area around man hole covers cracked, utility company patches a mess, street cracks widening allowing for the growth of weeds.

then theres the owners part. I see one specifically that has a dog. I enjoy dogs, but clean up after them if you walk them! And don't just walk them across the street to another persons yard that is blocked by bushes so they can't see your dog taking a @#$% or crap on their property while you have a back yard next to woods..Dog urine kills grass and dog crap is no fun. Oh wait a second...thats probably why the dog is brought across teh street and not on there yard huh...

lets all put in request on the town website www.hamden.com asking that they repave the street and replace curbs. its been 23yrs since anyone has made the request and I for one am tired for one am tired of hearing you are on the list.

Per the Commissioner of the Traffic Dept all issues in the woodin st area would be address imediately. Police Chief Wydra announced crosswalks would be painted on the street. residents need to follow up to ensure it gets done. Request for speed bumps was also made

It will be planting time soon. Great opportunity for sprucing up Furman Rd. Let's got out and plant something.

There is now a Tree Commission and they actually gave out free trees on Earth Day. Please continue to use the town website to put in request for what you want. If you don't make your needs known they will continue to be ignored
