Welcome to the "new Troy". 1/2 the residents here get all the social services you mentioned and because that's not enough to really prosper on, they sell drugs to make extra money. 1/2 of Troy lives like this. The other 1/2 of Troy as sick of paying for these lowlifes existence.

Well they don't make much because it goes back into their drug use! The "extra" money is from them stealing money (the girl prostitutes herself for money and drugs as well) or selling drugs or stolen items and they don't spend it on their kids, they spend it on more drugs for them to do themselves. The cash assistance she has broadcasted that she got paid and needs some weed right in the middle of the street! The girl has been to rehab a couple times because cps got involved...she was shooting heroin throughout her last pregnancy. At one point she sounded like she was bragging that she's so mentally unstable that she's not allowed to be left alone with her kids...don't know if that changed. It's ridiculous and enough is enough. This problem needs to be taken care of immediately.

Honestly, if you want to fix the issue, clickfix isn't gonna help. You need to call CPS, the rensselaer drug task force, the troy drug tip line, troy police, the troy housing authority and any other agencies that can & will step in and make change. The people readin clickfix generally don't care about these kind of complicated issues and won't help. If you've got a pothole or a traffic light out, then clickfix is great.

Thank you! This isn't my only avenue of complaining about this issue. I have called CPS before, the cops as well, apparently have to keep calling before they really will do anything, it's frustrating. They have to start enforcing the laws or they are enabling this stuff to happen! I did also submit a complaint to other places, but you did give me a couple more that I will go ahead with, so thanks!

It would be easy to eliminate this problem if more explicit detail were made available, ie: address, names, etc.

I live around the corner on 15th. Everyone knows where the house is. Yes, maybe some in the apartments too, but it's the house at the top next to them that has lots of cars parked going the wrong way. In he summer time someone sits in a chair on the stoop.

Yup...there's a connection between the people that live on the 2nd floor of 44 Lincoln ave and those that live at the address you provided! Heroin, crack, marijuana for sure...wouldn't surprise me if there's more drugs other than that too. What I don't understand is how there are any drug busts ever on the news, when people complain about other known drug users and dealers but nothing is ever done!

With the explicit headline detailing the illegal activity that is prominent here, you would think that they would be more vigilant in their career of catching career criminals. It is bad as the alleged "master carpenter" the level III sex offender on First Street in South Troy named Bill. All this jerkoff does is play video games all night, then sleep all day, without helping out with anything to the family that is supporting him and his skag @#$% girlfirend Sally. He should go back to sleeping in a tent at Prospect Park and drinking beer and smoking weed, instead of mooching off from his alleged friends. This wanna-be claims to have a legal ad on ANGIES LIST, but I find it hard to believe that anyone would hire him, as he has no tools, phone, or transportation except what rides he mooches off from his friend with the truck.

Hmm...looks like they found my complaint on here, or their crackhead parents. Either that or they think it's someone else complaining about them. I don't use drugs and I have no problem taking a drug test. Also, if a background check was done on me, I have never been in trouble with the law. I don't get ANY assistance, I work hard for what I have, if I was a drug user or dealer, I'd probably be in the same boat as them, don't ya think? But I'm not! So thanks. Your accusation holds no water.

I'm wondering whose reporting these complaints on here? Since mine and the one on 2nd street was flagged and blocked now. I'm going to go ahead and assume that it's someone who knows the people at both addresses and there is an obvious connection between the drug dealers/users. Not surprising as I remember the one that lives on the 2nd fl of 44 Lincoln always walked the streets, 2nd st being one of them. So I could only imagine. IF ONLY the police or drug task force, somebody in authority would stake out these addresses and maybe investigate?!?!
