A good part of the potholes were filled in... but due to the heavy rains recently some are deteriorating again. There is also a long crevice along the north bound side of the road that pulls your automobile off the road and neumerous patchings that can cause an auto to bounce into oncoming traffic. I feel that only a complete repaving will properly repair this road.

@fsquire agreed. only a complete repave from the bridge to Moriches-Middle Island Road will solve this long-standing issue. Stop wasting my taxpayer money filling potholes that inevitably open up again and pave the road!

Now maybe the whole length of road will be repaved instead of piece meal... The road is is in desperate need of repaving due to severe winter weather conditions.

This is a 6 year old complaint... Still patching potholes... Let's get it done right, repave the @#$% road!

River road is finally undergoing a complete repaving from end to end with a bicycle lane added. Should be completed by the end of November...
