I would say if the comment was meant for a hole like the 10 foot by 10 foot patch the cut out on 1st ave E and just left it, I would put a sign up at least to let ppl know there gonna drop inches in the east lane

I think the hole looks great, slows down traffic, helps drown gofers in the spring...Leave it as is

huge hole in the parking lot at the south hill mall almost broke en axle didn't see it till it was too late..funny enough that same hole has been there for over the last year just getting bigger...

holes in the ground are not always easily repaired with just one filling. The ground does naturally settle and needs to be added to. Which I am sure will happen when the city is done fixing other project(s) more important.
