Plus NO PARKING on Hillsborough in front of Salon and NO U-TURN at the left turn from Hillsborough onto Ashe. Many cars (especially food pick-up drivers) try to make a u-turn and end up failing and blocking traffic to execute 3-point turn instead, Happens SEVERAL times a day!!

We have installed flexible delineators along the gore median on the western side of Hillsborough Street at Ashe Ave to prevent left turns from Ashe Ave onto Hillsborough Street. We are also installing a no u-turn sign for westbound Hillsborough Street at Ashe Ave, and removing the stop bar for left turns from Hillsborough to Ashe and replacing with yield line markings.
