Is it possible we close the road to through traffic? At least this will minimize the frequency for patching until fully resurfaced. Or make it a 2 phase process where the road is removed and grated as a dirt road for a couple years until funding can be granted for repaving then repave?

Just trying to throw out some ideas as I know a lot of us people who live withing the surrounding neighborhoods are frustrated.

Seeking funds Ha, Green Lake Rd has got to be the worst road in the area. West Bloomfield demands we keep up our houses and land. We need to practice what we preach. I know it's going to cost a lot of money and I know all about budgets but we need to put this towards the top of the list. It has come to the point where it is down right dangerous driving on Green lake road.

A very hazardous area as motorists swerve to avoid severe potholes on a two-lane road. Then, add in a garbage truck or mail truck, it's crazy. This is also the path of many school bus stops. Something needs to be done! West Bloomfield and Oakland County need to correct this ongoing problem... it won't go away just by wishing it.

I am going to cut to the quick. You are all correct. Hiller Road, Lochhaven, Willow and Pontiac Trail road surfaces are all deplorable and they have been that way for over the past three weeks. Today is Weds 2/26/14 This is a disgrace for residents and non residents for that matter. Who the h _ _ l is in charge of the Road Commission in WB and the handling of these roads???
This a simple patch job and yes it may be temporary but someone needs to get off their duff and address this.

This road is DANGEROUS. There are only three roads that allow you to travel from one side of West Bloomfield to the other (Green Lake Rd., Old Orchard Trail, Union Lake Road). Green Lake Road is completely impassable. This road needs to be closed and resurfaces immediately.

Green Lake Road is beyond ridiculous. I live in the neighborhood off it, and today (2/28) there seems to be increased traffic going down my road, so I am really, really hoping that there are some crews actually doing something with the Green Lake. Because absolutely nothing has been done in weeks (or maybe even the last month). It would be better to churn it up and turn it into a dirt road than leave it in the dangerous conditions it is today. And my children's bus must travel this road multiple times daily! Unacceptable! While it is being patched, also head down Fieldview right along the end of Middle Straits Lake closest to Upper Straits and patch that too.

I also live right off of Green Lake. This is totally unacceptable. I would think they would fix the roads, because of the fire department. I witnessed them driving in remarkably slow speeds ,with their lights flashing. I know that the road commission don't give a @#$% about the residence. But what about the fire department.
