1/15/2014 - 20020928592 - gas cuts settled in alley and restoration requested - rtt

Have not only reported this through Click it but have spoken to Dept of Public Works and sent pictures to our Councilman. To date no one has helped regarding this issue which has been going on in some form or another for 9 months.

@Connie. Here's how this is going to go down:

1. The City will acknowledge your complaint (done).
2. Then another City person will state that their equipment to fix the alley is being repaired.
3. Next the City will repost my comment with my personal email address (not sure why but they don't have anything better to do).
4. Finally, the City will close this request (they've done that with several other alley repair requests) hoping you don't notice.
5. Then the cycle begins again.
6. Do-loop, rinse and repeat. Good luck!

Mgmt team noted that the alley at this location has been graded. This request has been completed (CRS#20020928592 ).

Alley was graded almost 2 weeks ago but new gravel was not laid. Consequently, ruts and a large pool of water of reappeared. It does not help to grade alley and then not lay down a good layer of gravel.

After the first rain, the potholes covered reappeared. The problem that still exists is that more gravel needs to be put in the potholes.

This alley has water standing at the Kent Road location.

Thank you to everyone--neighbors and City--for staying on top of this issue. If the job is completed from grading to gravel at one time, then the problem should be solved to everyone's satisfaction. Looking forward to getting a final resolution on this for the first time in more than a year and a half.
