Street sweeper didn't show up on Webster between 40th and 41st, either. However, tickets were issued to drivers of cars who parked there between 9 a.m. and noon.

You bet, the City can make sure that you get a parking citation if you don't move your car for street sweeping, but can't make sure the sweeping that we're paying for gets done! This occurs frequently on 35th Street.

Seems to me that whenever street cleaners don't show up, that should be a solid argument in traffic court for the dismissal of a parking citation.

Street sweepers did not show (again!!!) today Monday, February 10th, 2014.

I called the Oakland Public Works department at (510) 615-5566, and reached a person at a call center fairly quickly.

I gave Sarah the service request number to this issue, which was posted as acknowledged by City of Oakland Public Works Agency on 1/14/14.

Sarah informed me that Mr. Arthur Watson, supervisor at City of Oakland Daytime Street Sweeping (510) 434-5112, has received information regarding this issue of missed street sweeping on 37th Street between West MacArthur Boulevard and Telegraph Avenue.

Sarah also informed me that Oakland Public Works/Daytime Street Sweeping have officially documented that street sweepers did indeed miss sweeping on 37th Street today, and that Mr. Watson will be conducting research regarding the 1/14/14 missed sweeping.

I called Mr. Watson to discuss this issue at 12:30 PM 2/10/14. I reached his voicemail and left a message describing the issue and leaving my contact information.

I have multiple photos documenting the missed street sweeping on both dates, and would be more than happy to help to address this issue.

Street sweepers did not show up again Tuesday, February 12th, 2014 on 37th Street between West MacArthur Boulevard and Telegraph Avenue.

Daytime Street Sweeping did not show up today Tuesday, March 11th, 2014 on 37th Street (South side) between Telegraph Avenue and West MacArthur Boulevard.

There is litter and debris in the street.

I contacted Oakland PWA today regarding this service request. PWA referred me to Robert Nielman of Keep Oakland Green & Beautiful, as Arthur Watson, supervisor at City of Oakland Daytime Street Sweeping hadn't been returning my calls.

Mr. Nielman looked into my issue and I shortly received a phone call for Mr. Watson concerning the street sweeper driver who has been missing this block.

At appx 3:00 PM today street sweeper visited this block.
