Hi. Travel M-F From Dequindre at 26 mile south a couple miles and proceed around Yates Cider Mill and you will pull your hair out. In the past 2 months even given the bad weather, this stretch has increased in conjection considerably. It seems that the traffic light cycles are shorter. Is there a way to make the North and South bound traffic lights about 3 times the amount of green time than what exists now? The road obviously needs to be expanded to two lanes but why not increease the light cycles 3 fold for green to red during the morning and evening rush hour commute times. This is not a catch all solution but would considerably move traffic trough this bumper to bumper nightmare. It seems it used to be bad but not this bad! 35 minutes to go 3 miles at 7:30am is mind boggling. More subs are being built to the north but the traffic congestion doesn't appear to be dealt with that I can see. There is a great website that you can look at to view real time traffic. This can be used to verify my claims http://www2.rcocweb.org/TrafficWeb/Index.aspx Any solutions being looked at for this? Thanks

Great, so you acknowledge a traffic light issue at this area of 23 mile & Dequindre, If you can provide any action updates, that'd be great! As in, is someone looking into it? New parts on order? etc etc.
ETA for a fix?
Can you provide any details such as light cycles are suppose to be longer for North & South bound lanes during morning and/or evening commutes?
Any future road or construction projects slated for this contested area?
Thanks for any info.

...congested, not contested.
Also, are there issues with the 24 mile and Dequinre Road light? This one seems off as well.
