When they recently put in a new street light pole on Mission Bay Blvd. North between 3rd Street and Bridgeview Way they put in one that is several feet taller than the others. Not only that, but it has no light and no glass globe. Other poles need to be checked. One has no cover on the timing sensor.

Update, 1/18/14: A Public Works truck was seen in the area a few days ago but nothing much has changed. The wrong pole (I call it the giraffe pole due its height relative to its neighbor poles) is still standing with no light coming from it. There is still a pole (in front of 330 Mission Bay Blvd. North) with no cover on the timing sensor at the top--just bare wires. If it ever starts raining again this one will probably short out.
