Thank you for reporting this. We have inspection teams out to post snow ordinance violation notices for properties that do not have their sidewalks and ramps clear of snow and ice. This location was added to our list. For a faster response you can call 483-4456 Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.
Sure. All snow on sidewalk issues are entered into a web based complaint system . The inspectors go out individually or in pairs in a city vehicle. In their vehicle is either a 4G connected laptop or a 3G/4G ipad which accesses the website. They respond to complaints by visiting a property and checking to see if it has been cleared of snow/ice. If it isn't clear/safe enough for someone in a wheelchair or with a disability to safely traverse the sidewalk, it is in violation with city ordinance 1020.06. The inspector leaves a notice of violation on the property and updates the website for a notice of violation to be mailed to the property owner of record.
We have multiple inspection teams in the field responding to complaints or visiting areas which have historically been in violation.
