Okay, as of tonight there is a new sign up that appears taller.. What i must have seen in the dark of the median two nights ago......was an older shorter sign (i think) which had been removed from its base. Two nights ago, standing on that little median in the poor lighting, i wasn't going to closely examine the downed sign. All's well that ends well, I guess. I still hope they put some some sort of little flashing light to be associated with the sign; seems that sign is only-barely-adequate protection for night pedestrians (the crosswalk lines on the pavement are slightly faded).
