Once Whole Foods opens tomorrow, a traffic signal will need to go in this intersection. Please monitor the traffic levels.

This location is scheduled to be studied for a protected left turn in about 3 to 4 months. Traffic patterns need to return to normal so that we can address the issue with more accurate data.

Based on recent traffic counts and patterns, the City of Raleigh recommended to NCDOT to add those new left phases to the existing traffic patterns and they agreed. NCDOT is currently having the plan corrections completed and will provide the additional equipment for the City of Raleigh to do the installation.
